Inventory & Stock
Accuracy Disclaimer
How Audio Imperial displays product availability, what can occasionally cause a stock count to be wrong, and exactly what happens — and what your rights are — if an order can't be fulfilled the way it was shown.
Our Commitment on Stock Accuracy
Audio Imperial sells amplifiers, DACs, music streamers, speakers, and turntables sourced through each brand's authorized distribution channel. We display real inventory numbers, not marketing estimates — and this page explains exactly how that works.
Live Inventory Counts
The quantity shown on a product page is pulled from our live inventory system at the moment the page loads — not a fixed or pre-set marketing figure.
No Artificial Scarcity
If a page says "3 left," three units are genuinely available in our system at that moment — never an invented number meant to rush you.
Authorized-Dealer Sourcing
We carry products through each brand's official distribution channel, so our shelf stock can be affected by our suppliers' own inventory levels.
Prompt, Honest Resolution
If an order can't be fulfilled as shown, we contact you quickly with clear options — never silence, and never a surprise charge.
How We Display Stock Status
Every amplifier, DAC, streamer, speaker, and turntable on this site shows one of three honest, plainly worded availability states — never a vague "check availability" link that hides the real answer.
| Status Shown On The Page | What It Actually Means | Can You Order It? |
|---|---|---|
| "[X] in stock, ready to be shipped" | This exact quantity is physically available in our fulfillment system right now. | Yes — ships in 2–3 business days |
| "Only [X] left!" | Available quantity has fallen below our internal low-stock threshold. It's a real, current count — not a countdown gimmick. | Yes, while supplies last |
| No quantity shown / "Add to cart" unavailable | The item is currently out of stock, discontinued, or temporarily removed from sale pending a supplier update. | No — not purchasable |
We do not list a product as "in stock" anywhere — on this website, in a shopping ad, or in any other listing — unless it is genuinely available to ship from our system at that time. An item that's out of stock is removed from sale rather than left purchasable with a misleading status.
Why Stock Status Can Occasionally Be Inaccurate
We update inventory continuously, but no real-time counter is perfect. Here are the specific, realistic reasons a number on this site could be a step behind what's actually on our shelf.
Concurrent Shoppers
The same unit can sit in two different shoppers' carts at the same moment. Whichever order completes payment first claims that unit; the other shopper's cart will show it as unavailable before they're charged.
Upstream Supplier Availability
We are an authorized dealer, not a manufacturer. Our incoming stock depends on shipments from brands like Audiolab, Cyrus, Dual, Mission, Q Acoustics, and Violectric, which can shift with little notice on their end.
Returns Under Inspection
A returned item is not added back into sellable inventory until it has been received and inspected, even though the original unit has technically left our warehouse and come back.
Brief System Sync Delay
Our inventory updates automatically and continuously, but a short delay between when a sale is recorded and when the displayed count refreshes is occasionally possible.
If We Can't Fulfill Your Order As Shown
We process orders within 2–3 business days and deliver within 5–10 business days after that — comfortably inside the 30-day shipping window the law requires when no other time is stated, under the FTC's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule (16 CFR Part 435).
In the rare event that a product turns out to be unavailable after you've already placed an order — most commonly because of the concurrent-purchase or supplier-timing situations described above — we will not simply cancel your order silently or leave you guessing.
Our support team emails or calls you, typically within 1–2 business days of discovering the issue, before any further action is taken.
Wait for a confirmed revised ship date if we have a reasonable basis to give you one, accept a comparable substitute (only if you agree), or cancel for a full refund — your decision, not ours.
If you cancel, or don't respond and we're unable to ship, we return your payment in full to your original payment method, generally within 7 business days.
We Don't List What We Can't Confirm
At this time, Audio Imperial does not offer backorder or pre-order purchasing. If a product isn't in our fulfillment system, it is removed from sale rather than offered as a "ships eventually" purchase.
If we introduce backorder or pre-order purchasing in the future, any such listing will clearly say "Backorder" or "Pre-Order" and disclose an estimated ship date before you can complete checkout — and every cancellation and refund right described on this page will continue to apply in full.
No Bait-and-Switch. No Manufactured Urgency.
Federal law (the FTC's Guides Against Bait Advertising, 16 CFR Part 238, and Section 5 of the FTC Act) prohibits advertising a product an advertiser doesn't genuinely intend or have the ability to sell, or using a low-stock claim to manufacture false urgency. Here's how we stay on the right side of that line.
Real Quantities, Stocked to Sell
Any product advertised on this site, in search results, or in a shopping ad is genuinely stocked in a quantity intended to meet reasonably anticipated demand — not a lure to switch you to a different, pricier item.
No Fake Countdown Timers
We don't run artificial countdown clocks, manufactured "selling fast" banners, or low-stock badges disconnected from real inventory anywhere on this site.
Sale Means Sale
A discount or promotion stays live on a product page only while it's actually active and the item is actually purchasable at that price — we don't advertise expired deals or unavailable specials.
Consumer Protection Notice: As a U.S.-based retailer, Audio Imperial complies with Section 5 of the FTC Act (15 U.S.C. § 45) prohibiting unfair and deceptive practices, the FTC's Guides Against Bait Advertising (16 CFR Part 238), the Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule (16 CFR Part 435), and Florida's Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (Chapter 501, Part II, Florida Statutes). All availability claims, stock counts, and promotional statements on this website are accurate and not misleading.
The Same Stock Status, Everywhere You Find Us
Whether you reach a product through a search result, a shopping ad, a direct link, or by browsing our collections, the availability status you see is pulled from the same live system — and matches what's confirmed at checkout.
One Source of Truth
Product pages, collection pages, and any advertisement we run all read from the same inventory data — there is no separate, more optimistic number used just for ads.
Checkout Confirms It Again
Adding an item to your cart re-checks live availability, and final confirmation happens again at payment, so the last word on stock is always the most current one.
Genuine, Authorized Inventory
Every unit we sell is sourced through each brand's authorized distribution channel — never grey-market or third-party resale stock of unknown origin or condition.
