Product Compliance &
Safety Certifications
Every product sold by Audio Imperial complies with applicable U.S. federal regulations and safety standards. This page documents our authorization, regulatory compliance, and product safety commitments in full.
Our Full Compliance Framework at a Glance
Audio Imperial is operated by NMG Express LLC, a Florida-registered limited liability company. We sell premium hi-fi audio equipment—amplifiers, DACs, music streamers, speakers, and turntables—exclusively within the United States. Every product we list is new, factory-sealed, sourced through authorized brand distribution, and compliant with all applicable U.S. federal and state regulations before it appears on our store.
Product Authorization
We are an authorized retailer for all six brands we carry. Our inventory is purchased through each brand's official U.S. distribution channels—never grey-market, never parallel import.
FCC Regulatory Compliance
All electronic devices sold on our platform comply with FCC regulations under Title 47 CFR Part 15. FCC authorization documentation is maintained by each manufacturer and is verifiable via the FCC Equipment Authorization database.
Safety Certifications
Products carry safety certifications issued by nationally recognized testing laboratories (NRTLs) recognized by OSHA under 29 CFR 1910.7, including UL and ETL where applicable. Certification marks are printed directly on each unit.
Consumer Safety Act (CPSC)
We actively monitor the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recall database. Any product subject to an active recall is immediately removed from sale and affected customers are notified directly.
Manufacturer Warranty
Because we are an authorized dealer, every product we sell carries its full original manufacturer warranty. Customers can register warranty claims directly with the brand using the documentation included in the box.
U.S. Only Sales Territory
Audio Imperial ships exclusively within the United States. We do not fulfill international orders, and our compliance obligations are assessed solely under U.S. federal and applicable state law.
Authorized Retailer Status & Product Authenticity
Audio Imperial is an authorized retailer for every brand we carry: Audiolab, Cyrus, Dual, Mission, Q Acoustics, and Violectric. Our inventory is purchased exclusively through each brand's official U.S. distribution chain.
This means every item we ship is new, factory-sealed, and eligible for the brand's complete manufacturer warranty. We do not purchase inventory from unauthorized third parties, liquidators, parallel importers, or overseas distributors.
Product descriptions on our website are written from manufacturer-supplied technical specifications and our own first-hand review of the products. We do not exaggerate specifications, inflate performance claims, or use misleading language about what a product can or cannot do.
“Purchasing from an authorized retailer guarantees your unit is genuine, qualifies for the manufacturer warranty, and is covered by the brand's official support channels. Grey-market purchases may void warranty coverage entirely.”
FCC Regulatory Compliance
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulates electronic devices sold in the United States to control unintentional radio frequency (RF) emissions and to authorize intentional transmitters such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi radios. Every electronic product we sell has been authorized or verified as compliant under the applicable FCC rules before being offered for sale.
FCC Part 15 — Class B Unintentional Radiators
All amplifiers, DACs, and headphone amplifier/DAC combinations we carry comply with FCC Part 15, Subpart B, Class B limits for unintentional radiators. Class B certification indicates the device meets the more stringent residential-use emission limits, meaning it is suitable for use in homes without causing harmful interference to radio communications.
Products covered: Audiolab 6000A Integrated Amplifier and Violectric DHA V3802 DAC/Headphone Amplifier.
FCC Part 15 Class B Unintentional RadiatorFCC Part 15 — Intentional Radiators (Bluetooth & Wi-Fi)
Products with integrated Bluetooth or Wi-Fi radios are subject to FCC Part 15, Subpart C (intentional radiators) and require a formal FCC Equipment Authorization (either Certification or Supplier's Declaration of Conformity). Bluetooth and network functionality must be approved before the device can be legally marketed or sold in the U.S.
Products with wireless radios: Dual CS 529 Turntable (Bluetooth), Cyrus Classic STREAM (Wi-Fi / Ethernet / Bluetooth), Cyrus Stream-XR (Wi-Fi / Ethernet / Bluetooth), and Q Acoustics M40 HD (Wi-Fi / Bluetooth).
FCC Part 15C Intentional Radiator Equipment AuthorizedFCC — Passive Speakers (No Authorization Required)
Passive loudspeakers containing only passive crossover components and no active electronic circuits are exempt from FCC authorization requirements because they do not generate or emit radio frequency energy. The Mission LX-4 MKII Floorstanding Loudspeaker is a passive two-way speaker with no active electronics, and therefore no FCC filing applies to the loudspeaker unit itself.
When connected to an FCC-authorized amplifier, the overall system remains compliant. No FCC marking is required on passive speaker enclosures.
FCC Exempt Passive DeviceHow to Verify FCC Authorization
Every FCC-authorized product bears the FCC ID marking on its rear panel, base, or in the product manual. You can independently verify any FCC ID at no cost using the FCC's Equipment Authorization Search tool at apps.fcc.gov. Enter the FCC ID printed on your device to view the authorization record, test reports, and applicable technical standards.
If you have a question about the FCC compliance status of a specific product before purchasing, contact us at support@audioimperial.com and we will provide the relevant documentation.
FCC ID Verifiable Public DatabaseAll electronic devices sold on audioimperial.com have received the required FCC Equipment Authorization prior to being listed for sale. Audio Imperial does not sell any electronic device that has not been lawfully authorized for the U.S. market under the applicable FCC rules. FCC ID numbers are physically marked on each product unit and in the accompanying user documentation. The FCC authorization belongs to the manufacturer; Audio Imperial does not modify any hardware or firmware that would affect the device's authorized parameters.
Product Safety Standards by Category
In addition to FCC compliance, electronic products sold in the U.S. are evaluated against electrical safety standards administered by Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories (NRTLs) recognized by OSHA under 29 CFR 1910.7. The following describes the safety certification framework that applies to each product category in our catalog.

California's Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (Proposition 65, codified at California Health & Safety Code §§ 25249.5–25249.13) requires businesses to provide warnings before knowingly and intentionally exposing any California resident to a chemical on the state's list of chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
WARNING: California Proposition 65
Required notice under California Health & Safety Code § 25249.6
WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including lead, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information go to www.p65warnings.ca.gov.
This warning applies to electronic audio equipment as a category because certain internal components—including solder, wiring insulation, electronic circuit boards, and electrical connectors—may contain trace amounts of chemicals on the Proposition 65 list, most commonly lead (Pb) used in solder joints within legacy or mixed-production manufacturing lines.
This warning is a precautionary notice required by California law and does not mean the product is unsafe for its intended purpose. Proposition 65 warnings are required when a product contains a listed chemical at any detectable level above the safe harbor threshold, which is set far below the level at which harm would be expected to occur during normal use.
U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) Compliance
The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) and the Consumer Product Safety Act (CPSA) establish safety standards and recall procedures enforced by the CPSC. Audio Imperial maintains active compliance with CPSC obligations as a seller of consumer electronic products in the United States.
Active Recall Monitoring
Audio Imperial monitors the CPSC recall database at cpsc.gov/Recalls for all product categories we carry. Any product subject to an active CPSC recall is removed from sale immediately upon notification.
Customer Recall Notification
If a product you purchased from Audio Imperial becomes subject to a CPSC recall, we will contact you at the email address associated with your order with instructions on how to proceed. You do not need to check for this manually.
Report a Safety Concern
If you believe a product purchased from us presents a safety hazard, contact us immediately at support@audioimperial.com or +1 888-865-1086. You may also report directly to the CPSC at SaferProducts.gov.
No Prohibited Products
Audio Imperial does not sell any product that is subject to a CPSC ban, mandatory recall, or stop-sale order. We do not knowingly sell products that fail mandatory safety standards administered by the CPSC or any other federal agency.
Consumer electronic audio equipment (amplifiers, DACs, streamers, turntables, speakers) sold under the brands we carry does not fall within any current CPSC special regulation category requiring third-party testing or certification under CPSIA Section 102 (which primarily governs children's products). These products are general-use consumer electronics subject to general CPSC jurisdiction but not to the children's product testing regime.
Environmental Standards Applicable to Our Products
While the United States does not impose domestic RoHS or WEEE mandates at the federal level, the brands we carry are internationally operating manufacturers who design their products to meet global environmental standards. The following describes the environmental compliance framework relevant to our products.
All six brands we carry (Audiolab, Cyrus, Dual, Mission, Q Acoustics, Violectric) sell products in the European Union and are therefore required to comply with the EU RoHS Directive, which restricts lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) in electronic equipment. U.S. versions of these products share the same manufacturing platform and, in most cases, the same sub-assemblies. Our brands' RoHS Declaration of Conformity documents are available directly from each manufacturer upon request.
Products sold in the EU carry the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicating the device must not be disposed of with unsorted household waste. While U.S. federal law does not impose an equivalent national WEEE obligation, most U.S. states have individual e-waste recycling laws. Audio Imperial encourages responsible end-of-life disposal of all electronic equipment through your local government's designated e-waste recycling program. Contact your local municipality for drop-off locations.
Products ship in their original manufacturer packaging. Outer cartons are corrugated cardboard, which is recyclable in standard municipal recycling programs. Interior protective foam and plastic elements should be checked with your local recycling authority for accepted material types. We encourage retaining original packaging for safe long-term storage of your equipment.
